Northern Escape Heli-Skiing was founded in 2004 by a group of four friends with a dream to develop the ultimate Canadian helicopter skiing adventure. John, Benny, Teddy, and Dave share a love for the mountains and skiing, and nothing is more evident than when you jump in the helicopter with them.

Our experience in the heli and cat skiing industry goes back to the 1980’s, the time of long skinny skis, big hair, headbands and fluorescent one pieces. Those were the days! Since that time we’ve honed our skills in every aspect of the business and we can confidently say you will not find a better heli-skiing experience anywhere.

From our guides to our ski techs to our chefs and lodge staff, we have excelled at attracting some of the best crew in the business year after year to our lodges in Terrace, BC. We are avid skiers and snowboarders who believe in sharing the backcountry of Northern BC and this special place that is Northern Escape. We work long hours and go that extra distance to make every guest’s trip feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But no matter how hard we’re working, we never lose that laid-back mountain vibe and easy smile.
