Each lodge has its own culinary team of professionally trained chefs preparing the highest-quality, locally sourced meals. Our team has worked at top resorts and restaurants around the world, including Michelin-starred venues. Guests are often surprised that the dining experience is so good way up in Northern British Columbia!

Breakfast at Northern Escape Heli-Skiing

Breakfast

Breakfast at Yellow Cedar and Mountain Lodge is buffet-style, with a mix of North American and European flavours. Warm and cold options are always available. Classic warm breakfast options are eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. Continental breakfast options like charcuterie, smoked salmon, cheese, muesli, yogurt, and berries are also available. The Private lodge offers more of a personalized menu for guests, where the chefs get to know your preferences and create a plan that you'll adore. Craving something in particular? Let us know!

Lunch

Lunch is on the mountainside, and it could easily be the best view you've ever had while enjoying hot soup, artisanal sandwiches, pastries, and snacks. A nutritious lunch keeps you going for the afternoon and our guides might even encourage you to stuff a few snacks in your pocket for later!

Après Ski

Après Ski is one of our favourite times - directly after returning to the lodge, your appetite is often as big as the day's stories! Après Ski includes hot and cold options, plus non-alcoholic beverages. Beer, wine, and cocktails are available for an additional fee. Mouth-watering delights range from sushi, oysters, sliders, nachos, chicken wings, charcuterie, veggie platters, and some sweet treats.

Dinner

Gourmet Dinner is served each night. Exquisite meals include Pacific seafood of all kinds, Canadian beef, bison, elk, harvest vegetables, locally foraged mushrooms, and fine cheeses. Vegetarian and vegan options are always available, as well as special dietary considerations. We work with small artisanal farms, local cheese makers, and producers to source sustainable food and create a premium culinary experience for our guests. Our Sommelier-curated wine list features award-winning BC wines and select international favourites from the USA, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, and South America.
