Goearly season conditionsdzilla El Niño just keeps on delivering!

Yvan, one of our guides, reported back on conditions out at Shames Mt. earlier this month;

By 11:00 am we skied down Prayer Flags in excellent condition. There was an 80 cm base which skies very well with snowfall accumulating very quickly. We had 20 cm’s on the vehicle in 3 hours at the Shames parking lot!Read more

Heli Ski Season OpensOur Heli Ski Season opens with the earliest day of heli skiing ever! It’s October 27th, we had a small team out in the mountains checking out the conditions and putting a few fun turns in the sun. It’s fantastic to be back out in the mountains – what a fun day!

The forecast of a “Godzilla El Niño” bodes well for us up here in the North. After the first several big storms this fall, we were waiting for the skies to clear to allow us a chance to get up high and check out the early season conditions.
