Heli Ski Season Opens Early
Our Heli Ski Season opens with the earliest day of heli skiing ever! It’s October 27th, we had a small team out in the mountains checking out the conditions and putting a few fun turns in the sun. It’s fantastic to be back out in the mountains – what a fun day!
The forecast of a “Godzilla El Niño” bodes well for us up here in the North. After the first several big storms this fall, we were waiting for the skies to clear to allow us a chance to get up high and check out the early season conditions.
We were impressed with the amount of snow already accumulating in the alpine
and into treeline, and our heli ski season opens earlier than ever before. Crevasses on the glaciers were starting to fill in well and the early season snowfalls seem to be bonding well with the old snowpack. All in all it’s an amazing start to our season.
We’re looking forward to our first guests arriving soon and to more of the goods promised by our friend – Godzilla El Niño!
