Yellow Cedar Lodge
Located on the banks of the Skeena River, just 20mins by shuttle from Terrace Airport, our Yellow Cedar Lodge is a classic Canadian mountain chalet, accommodating just 18 guests in a remote setting. Classic Heli Skiing Package guests will enjoy the ‘boutique’ atmosphere and relaxed ambience of the lodge and our friendly and attentive staff. We offer a choice of single or double occupancy rooms, each with their own ensuite bathrooms.

Cat Ski Backup
At Northern Escape Heli Skiing we want to ensure that you get world-class powder skiing and riding nearly every day of your trip with us so we created the Snowcat Skiing Backup program. If at any time during your ski trip, it should snow too heavily to fly safely to our heli skiing elevations, you will have a reserved seat on one of our three custom-outfitted and heated snowcats. Our snowcat skiing area includes more than 50 kilometers (31 miles) of snow roads and over 7,000 acres (29 sqkm) of cat skiing terrain with enough features and big lines to keep even the film crews busy! Our Snowcats access some of our best tree skiing locations with runs of over 600 vertical meters (2000 feet).
