Less is Really More
Small group helicopter skiing and boarding is the ultimate experience. Our Agusta Koala helicopters are like Ferraris for the mountains. The performance, safety and landing capabilities of this machine exceed any other helicopter in the business. And that means a better day on the slopes and more vertical. At Northern Escape, small group heli skiing and boarding is all about you and a few friends, your guide, and a fast helicopter, enjoying a spectacular day ripping it up in the Big Mountains of Northern British Columbia.
In 2022, Northern Escape was named World’s Best Heli Ski Operator at the World Ski Awards.
BC’s Best Early and Late Season Heli Skiing
Our immense, big mountain terrain, far north location on the edge of the Alaskan Panhandle, and proximity to Pacific storms means way more reliable early and late season skiing conditions than operators further south. By early December our pickup points have over a meter of snow and we have stellar powder skiing conditions into late April and beyond. And as a bonus, our pricing is lower this time of year due to lower demand. Learn more about early and late season heli skiing at Northern Escape.
“Northern Escape Heli Skiing delivers time and time again. These folks are the best of the best and I have skied with many of the others.”
Andy B. Vail, CO
“What an epic trip! The staff are first class, the food….the food… the food is unbelievable. The guides are so professional, fun and knowledgeable. The best, deepest snow I have ever ridden. My only recommendation is bringing a snorkel…”
Robert A. Vancouver, BC
“The helicopters are small and fast and you can have the place to yourself. I’ve been 15 times.”
John C. Bozeman, MT
