A Fourth Win For Northern Escape Heli-Skiing at the 2025 World Ski Awards
Ridge top, deep snow, and the view that defines the North. Northern Escape marks its fourth straight World Ski Awards win.
Northern Escape Heli-Skiing has just added another marker to its timeline in the Skeena Mountains. At the 2025 World Ski Awards, NEH was named World’s Best Heli-Ski Operator for the fourth year in a row!
For guests, this recognition reflects what they feel on snow: small-group heli-skiing in deep northern snow, backed by snowcat skiing when the weather closes in. For the team, it’s a quiet confirmation that the formula is working.
President and Co-Founder John Forrest calls the award the result of “decades of dedication” from guides, pilots, and staff who return each winter to the same remote bowls, glaciers, and old-growth forests that define the NEH experience.
This latest win sets the tone for the coming season in Terrace, BC, as the first storm cycles track in from the Pacific and the lodges start to fill.
